Profollica - An Objective Observation

Profollica is a medicine that has been created to treat hair loss. Baldness is generally not considered esthetically pleasing in human beings. So people who experience baldness naturally want some way of reversing the process. And scientists are always working to produce new products that will serve the purpose.

Does This Stuff Actually Work?

1) Causes of hair loss
Most cases involving male baldness— over 95 percent— are the result of androgenetic alopecia. This condition is the result of sensitivity to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a form of that hormone which shrinks the follicles. The chance of inheriting the gene that causes this condition is four in seven.

There are other factors responsible for baldness in men. Poor diet can be a contributing factor. Baldness may also occur as a result of some disease, as a side effect of some medication, or because of stress. Scarlet and typhoid fevers and scalp infections are among the diseases that can cause the hair to recede. Tight braiding can also scar the scalp and destroy follicles. And there are environmental factors such as x rays and pollutants. The hair loss that results from these factors, however, is normally temporary; permanent hair loss almost invariably has hereditary causes, or occurs as a natural part of the aging process.

2) How Profollica works
This article is not an endorsement of Profollica, so it will contain only objective information on the medicine. As mentioned earlier, it is an excess of DHT that most often causes baldness. Profollica is made with a selection of herbs, proteins, enzymes, and amino acids. These substances work together to inhibit the release of DHT. In addition, they protect the body against many of the other, external causes of baldness mentioned previously. And Profollica prevents free testosterone from binding with 5- α- reductase; increases the flow of blood— and with it, nutrients— to the scalp; and keeps the follicles from shrinking.

3) How to use Profollica
Like any other medicine, Profollica must be used according to the guidelines given on the package. The minimum period of time recommended for usage is sixty- seven days. The changes should start to become noticeable after about thirty days; and after another thirty, the hair loss rate should be way down. Users are advised to continue for another week before deciding whether to quit.

As with any drug, Profollica can produce unexpected side effects. These should be reported to your dermatologist. Likewise, check with your dermatologist to see if the product is really for you. You may even be allergic to the medication.

4) Some cons of Profollica
Profollica has been proven clinically to serve its purpose. The plant from which it is made, however, is rare, making the product expensive.

Nor can Profollica be used by women, despite the claims that some have made. The manufacturers of the product state that it is made for men only.
